Wim Crouwel graduated from the Rietveld School of Art & Design. He was involved with the founding of the faculty and worked in the vormgeving (design) department for about ten years. After his time at the faculty he worked as a designer professionally and later served as the director of the Boijmans van Beuningen museum. Wim passed away on September 19th, 2019.
