Design8 bv and ID are proud to present their monthly render contest: Render ID!
Starting today, for 4 consecutive months we invite you to send in your best product render with the chance to win a €100 voucher at bol.com. The render assignment will have a different topic each month, as well as zooming in to a specific rendering aspect, e.g. lighting, textures or camera. The jury will be assisted by render specialist Martin Kamminga.
You will render in Altair Inspire Render, for which you will receive a free one-year unrestricted license.
Render a Kitchen Toaster!
The first render assignment will be to render a kitchen appliance, specifically a kitchen toaster! You can model the kitchen toaster in any programme, but you are obligated to create the render in Altair Inspire Render
Send in your render before the 18th of December 2020!
What to pay attention to:
- Camera setup & settings
- Material selection
- Texture positioning
- Background
- Lighting
- Reflections
- Post Processing options in Dark Room
Requirements:
- Upload the render as a jpg or png, min. 1024 x 1024 and 300 DPI
- Upload the render file using ‘Save Studio Set’
- Create the render only in Altair Inspire Render
- You are a member of ID
- Make sure there is enough whitespace for Instagram elements, see below

Upload your files to Dropbox using the following link !
Make sure to place your files in a folder containing your name and give your files the following name:
- Name_FinalRender_Month
- Name_StudioSet_Month
