Zit er naast een Industrieel Ontwerper, ook een heuse Max Verstappen in jou verscholen? Droomde jij ook als klein kind al van ter Land, ter Zee en in de Lucht? Doe dan mee aan ID’s allereerste Zeepkistenrace! Op woensdag 1 mei zullen wij jou en je team de kans geven om jullie zeepkist, een zelfgebouwd voertuig zonder motor, te showen op het IO plein. Hierbij zal eeuwige roem te verdienen zijn voor de makers van zowel de snelste, als de meest originele Zeepkist.
Je huisgenoten, teamgenoten, commissiegenoten, studiogenoten en die ene random persoon die laatst tijdens Kafee een biertje voor je haalde. Kijk goed om je heen en scout de allerbeste talenten bij elkaar! Zorg dat je een lekker groot team maakt, want dat maakt het alleen maar gezellig. Wij stellen maar twee regels: er moeten minimaal drie mensen uit je team studievereniging ID lid zijn. En de maximaal twee personen die jullie zeepkist zullen besturen, moeten tijdens het evenement nuchter blijven.
We helpen jullie graag een beetje op weg, daarom zullen wij een aantal Bouwmomenten organiseren in de flexruimte. Deze zullen plaatsvinden op: di 9 april, ma 15 april, di 23 april en do 25 april. Bovendien hebben wij een aantal goede deals kunnen sluiten, waardoor we jullie 20% korting kunnen aanbieden bij een grote bouwmarkt. Hierover hoor je meer tijdens het allereerste Bouwmoment.

Could a true Lewis Hamilton reside next to your design spirit? Did you used to dream about having the coolest boldercar on the block? If that’s the case, than ID’s very first Soapbox race is there to suit all your needs! Battle for the title of fastest soapbox (a homemade vehicle without an engine) on the 1st of may and show what you and your team are capable of as designers right in front of the faculty. Eternal glory awaits the builders of the fastest and most original soapbox.
Your housemates, teammates, countrymates, committee-mates and that one random guy that kept staring at you in kafee. Look around you and assemble… well the people that say yes. Make sure to have a reasonably large team to maximize the fun to be had here.
There are only two rules: at least three members of your team have to be a member of study association ID and the maximum of two drivers that are going to steer your soapbox will have to stay sober during the event.
We are organising a couple of building moments to get you up to speed with the building task ahead. These will take place in the “Flexruimte” at the IDE faculty on the 9th, 15th, 23rd and 25th of april. These sessions will be optional, but are recommend as they will guide your building process. Participants are expected however to be present on the 4th of april for a briefing and this is compulsory!
